Books

Currently I am reading the (at least by me) long awaited fourth part (A Feast For Crows) of the
A Song Of Fire And Ice series by George R. R. Martin. I like the book but it
is a bit different than the previous books. This book continues to tell the
story from the previous three books but it feels like the pace is much slower
than in the other books. It feels like the author prepares the story for the
next book in the series and as if he tries to bring some of the multiple
parallel stories to an end so that he can concentrate on the main story in the
next book. Currently I have read a bit more than half of the book and the
story of the big main characters has not really been continued. Sometimes someone is
mentioned but you do not get much information about them. I am a bit
disappointed that the story of the main characters is not continued but on the
other hand it is again fascinating to read this book and how the story of
these (side) characters evolves. I really like this book.

Before starting to read this book I read, after a long time again, two
books in german. The first book was Tod und Teufel from Frank Sch

Jennifer and I just saw
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
and we both liked it. In the beginning of the movie the story is told pretty
fast and we both had the feeling that they tried to include as much from the
book as possible but after the main story started to develop we really enjoyed
it (except for the intermission) but as we both liked reading the books it is
not very hard for a movie so close to the book to be appreciated.
