Yesterday (2010-02-06) Benjamin and myself were again in Lech/Zürs snowboarding; just like three weeks ago. Last time (2010-01-17) Pattrick and Torsten were also able to join. This time it was only Benjamin and me.
The weather was similar to our last visit. Mostly cloudy with a few peeks of sunshine. This time, however, we had lots of new deep powder and it was freeriding time. Extremely exhausting but great fun.
Again. Just like last week we were in Zürs/Lech. This time I went with Torsten and Pattrick. Torsten has already posted about our day in the snow and there are also few pictures.
I just came back from a perfect day snowboarding in Lech. Benjamin and I started at 05:30 in the morning and only three hours later we arrived. The weather was not perfect, but we were riding down some real interesting and adventurous slopes. It was also extremely exhausting. Hoping to go again next week.
This is frustrating. There wasn’t enough snow most of the winter this year and I have now many new scratches in my snowboard. Today Jochen and I planned to go to Lech but the last days it snowed so much that most of the lifts are not operating and we would not even have reached Lech because the roads are full of snow. So we cancelled it and are now planning to go next Saturday if the weather gets better.
Today Jochen and I were in Zürs to go skiing. Jochen was skiing and I was snowboarding. Only half of the lifts were open and even less of the slopes but the tickets were fortunately only half of the usual price. It was much too warm, but it was still very good. I just love to be in the mountains on my snowboard.
