I spent the last two weekends fishing for perch. Tried out the Texas-Rig, Carolina-Rig, Texas-Carolina-Rig, Dropshot – no luck so far.

Same spot as last time, but the weather was cold and rainy.

Relaxing…

Two weeks without fishing due to illness and work and today it rained and rained and rained. But there is no such thing like “bad weather”, there is only bad clothing. So I went to Neuer See near Stuttgart and had a really great fishing time.

Some pikes (too little), but it has been a great sunday. And I met some nice people.

After having watched a documentary about Indians I decided to plant corn and beans, too. I know it was a little too late in the year (July instead of May or June), but the corn is growing already:

So I’m working on my second career as farmer and fisherman.

I have been fishing near Ludwigsburg at the river Neckar today.

Delicious. Hopefully, my rosemary grows soon. Spiced it with salt and pepper, a little bit of butter in the stomach – fantastic!

We grow our own vegetables and spices now. Already harvested some tomatoes and zucchini.

There has been a great offer at the computer shop yesterday. A Samsung E1920 TFT display for just €79.

The display is very simple, 1366×768 resolution, 18.5″ width, only a VGA connector. Ideal as a secondary display if you want to watch football, the news, some TV series or just have some coding documentation present while you are working on the main display.
