Movement of Electrons - Every Day

Have you noticed, that sometimes if you walk over a carpet at home or in a department store and you touch something which is made out of metal, you will get hurt and you will hear something.

Well this happening is an example of our daily life !

What happens is, that if you walk over the carpet, small tiny electrons will move from the carpet to you.

So you got a negative charge !!

If you touch something out of metal, then the negative charge will flow away to the earth.

So next time, when you touch a metal and you became "charged", remember this and keep in mind that it is nothing dangerous, you just became neutral.
